What is Botox?
Botox is a neurotoxin that's injected into specific areas of the body to treat lines and wrinkles, or to treat excessive sweating.
How long does Botox last?
Botox typically lasts 3–6 months, but the length of time varies by person.
When will I see results?
Most people see results 3–7 days after the injection, with full results visible in several weeks.
What are the side effects?
The most common side effect is bruising at the injection site, but other side effects are rare. Side effects usually resolve on their own within a few days to a week.

How do I prepare for treatment?
You should avoid alcohol and blood thinners like aspirin, ibuprofen, Gingko Biloba, or Ginseng for about a week before your appointment. You should also avoid topical products like retinol, Retin-A, retinoids, and glycolic acid for at least two days before the procedure.

Who should not get Botox?
Pregnant or breastfeeding people, and those with certain neurological diseases should not get Botox.
