Does the injection hurt?

Most patients experience minimal discomfort due to the addition of lidocaine, a local anesthetic, in many Juvederm formulations.  

 

Can I wear makeup after treatment?

Yes, but it's best to wait a few hours to allow the injection sites to settle. 

 

What should I do after treatment?

Avoid strenuous activity, excessive sun exposure, and alcohol for the first 24 hours. 

 

Can I combine Juvederm with other treatments?

Yes, Juvederm can often be combined with Botox injections for a more comprehensive facial rejuvenation.

Do I need a consultation before treatment?

Always consult with a qualified medical professional to discuss your expectations and suitability for Juvederm treatment.

Who should not get Botox?

Pregnant or breastfeeding people, and those with certain neurological diseases should not get Botox.
